As the largest wood trading company in Hungary, ERDÉRT Zrt. has been playing a determining role on the Hungarian wood market for more than fifty years.

ERDÉRT today is characterized by expertise and reliability originating from the many years of operation, as well as the ability to renew and adjust to the challenges of the present and the future. During the market presence of several decades, the company and our staff have become well-known in the business. Our successful activity, size and financial muscle make us firm, and our long-term way of thinking makes us predictable.

The products are primarily imported, including the softwood logs and sawn softwood of key importance, which mainly come from Russia. The quality of the material is ensured by the Siberian climate, and the safe supply is ensured by our Hungarian-Russian joint ventures: ERDÉRT Vjatka in the Kirov region, and another one in the Komi Republic. They both produce sawn wood.

Our choice is widened with continuous development.

The largest unit of ERDÉRT Zrt., the Sawmill and Product Centre of Tuzsér is unique in Hungary, in the respect of its softwood processing capacity - 150,000 m³ per year -, size and quality. We use materials from Northern habitats, with a state-of-the-art technology. We have implemented a kiln-drying capacity of more than one thousand m³, as well as a modern planing mill with a capacity of 600,000 m².

The ERDÉRT Wood-Based Panel Centre offers the complete range of wood-based panel products, from plywood to chipboard and furniture boards. The wide choice, favourable conditions, new products and additional services - board-cutting and edge-banding - add a value to our products.

The Hardwood Product Centre of ERDÉRT Zrt. mainly offers sawn hardwood of Hungarian origin and exotic species, and has the largest stocks of these products in the country, i.e. 10,000 m³. They also offer the full product range of the company, and have a vacuum kiln-drying facility.

The 7 regional wood centres located in the country are continuously extended and renewed. These product centres offer the complete product range of ERDÉRT Zrt., i.e. sawn wood, wood-based panels, as well as other products such as glues, surface-treating materials, gypsum boards, roof-covering materials etc. Each outlet has a board-cutting facility, and several of them have kiln-drying facilities, too. In February 2002, we opened the Wood Centre of ERDÉRT Zrt. at Zalaegerszeg, in May, we renewed our outlet in Debrecen, in the spring of 2003, we opened our wood centre at Veszprém, in the autumn of 2005, our wood centre of Győr moved to a new location, and on 14 September 2006, we opened our new wood centre at Kecskemét.

Our services are continuously extended, we are always looking for new products and solutions, in order to facilitate the realization of our customers' dreams and tasks.
