Structures: OSB (Oriented Strand Board) is a three-ply chipboard with guided arrangement of chips and special gluing, according to MSZ EN 300.
Quality:
  • OSB 3: load-bearing element, can be used in wet environment
  • OSB 2: load-bearing element, can be used in dry environment (e.g. for packing, indoor decoration)
  • OSB 4: extremely solid building element, can be used in wet environment
Produced in natural and tongue-and-groove version.
Board size: 1250 x 2500, 2070 x 2800, 1220 x 2440 mm (natural)
625 x 2500, 675 x 2500, 1250 x 2500 mm (tongue-and-groove)
Size tolerance: Length: ± 2-3 mm
Width: ± 2-3 mm
Thickness: ± 0.3 mm (sanded), ± 0.8 mm (not sanded)
Thickness: 6 , 8 , 9 , 10 , 12 , 15 , 18 , 22 , 25 mm and
12 , 15 , 18 , 22 mm (tongue-and-groove)
Gluing: OSB 3: can be used in wet environment
OSB 2: can be used in dry environment

Surface: Not sanded
Packing, transport, storage: Store at covered and dry place that is free of moisture and frost. Protect from rain and snow during transport.
Workability: The traditional hand-held and power tools, as well as the modern (carbide-tipped) tools are all suitable. Its homogeneous structure allows for easy moulding.
Bulk density: 580-720 kg/m3
Resistance to fire: Inflammable to medium extent when treated with Diffusit S;
Highly inflammable without treatment
Technical characteristics: Bending strength (depending on type and thickness):
in the direction of grains: 18-30 N/mm2
in cross direction: 9-16 N/mm2
Tensile strength resistance: 0.3 N/mm2
